.de-Domains

Conditions to register a .de-Domain:

  • The owner or the administrator of the Domain must have his registered office in Germany.

Domainname:

  • 92 characters are available in addition to the basic ones.
  • The name has to contain at least one letter, so it is not possible to have only numerals in the name.
  • Licence numbers, like ‚KA’ for Karlsruhe are not allowed.
  • The Domainname has to be at least 3 characters and at most 63 characters long.
